フィンランドのアーティスト、ユハ・ヴァン・インゲンは、日本の横断歩道/スクールゾーンの交通標識を、彼のバーチャル彫刻「ORB」の台座として使用しています。日本全国でこのアートワークを体験できます。
スマートフォンで交通標識をスキャンすることで見えるこのアートワークは、有名なアーティストの作品から、サンドロ・ボッティチェリやパブロ・ピカソから草間彌生に至るまでの作品を基にした50以上の色の組み合わせで構成された7つの色の球体で構成されています。
アートワークはスマートフォン（Chrome / Firefoxを搭載したAndroidおよびSafariを搭載したiPhone）で見るように設計されています。
アートワークを見る方法:
1. 日本の横断歩道/スクールゾーンの交通標識の近くに行く
2. スマートフォンを交通標識の近く（1〜2メートル）に持ってくる
3. この「 ORB を表示」リンクをクリックし、ブラウザにカメラの使用を許可する
4. 交通標識をスキャンする（ORBは交通標識がカメラ画像内にあり、十分に近くで見られている限り表示されます）。
5. スクリーンショットを撮り、友達と写真を共有する
6. ウェブページをリフレッシュして別の色の組み合わせを見る
「私のアイデアは、公共スペースを巨大なスケールでアートを展示するために占有することです。同時に、個々の視聴者に親密なアート鑑賞体験を提供したいとも思っています。アートワークは拡張現実を使用して作成されているため、自分のスマートフォンで見ることができ、いつでも、どの場所でも見ることができます。 ORB を見ることができる場所は何千もあり、それぞれ異なる風景が広がっています。天候、時間帯、スマートフォンの動きも結果に影響を与えます。スクリーンショットやビデオを撮って、友達と体験を共有することもできます。」

Art can be seen in surprising ways in everyday life! The Finnish artist Juha van Ingen uses the Japanese Crosswalk / school zone - traffic sign as a pedestal for his virtual sculpture ORB. One can experience the artwork all around Japan from big cities like Tokyo and Osaka to small towns in more remote areas.
The artwork which can be seen by scanning the traffic sign with your smartphone consists of seven coloured spheres in over 50 different colour combinations which have been taken from famous works of art by artists ranging from Sandro Botticelli and Pablo Picasso to Yayoi Kusama.
The artwork is designed to be viewed with a smartphone (Android with Chrome / Firefox and iPhone with Safari).
To view the artwork:
1. Go close to the Japanese Crosswalk / school zone - traffic sign
2. Hold your smartphone close to the traffic sign (1-2 meters)
3. Click this View ORB link and allow the browser to use the camera
4. Scan the traffic sign (ORB is visible as long as the traffic sign is within the camera image and viewed close enough).
5. Take a screenshot and share your picture with friends
6. Refresh the webpage to see another color combination
"My idea is to take over public space for presenting art in gigantic scale. At the same time, I also want to give the individual viewers an intimate experience of viewing art. As the artwork is made using augmented reality you see it with your own smartphone, and you can do this whenever you choose and in any of the locations. There are thousands of different locations where you can see ORB, each with different scenery. The weather, time of day and the movement of the smartphone also contribute to the result. You can take also a screenshot/video and share your experience with friends."
